Payback

Model Description

Payback is one of the UV printed limited edition models. GoatGuns didn't have any creative pitch to sell it to you, just the shiny gold box to catch your eye. This is the second 1911 model that comes with a compensator in the box.

The base color for this model is black on black on black, it is the UV print that makes this unique. On the frame and slide there are splotches with the heaviest concentration by the tip of the barrel getting more sparce as you go towards the back. One could argue these splotches are blood splatter, though in the art they are depicted as dark blue. On the grip is a skull graphic given a three-dimensional effect using various shades of blue. At first glance it looks like you are looking at it head on and you can only see half of it, but on closer inspection this doesn't seem to be the case. Firstly, we feel this isn't a skull but a mask, like a mix of the punisher skull and the mask from the dishonored video games. The eye sockets look more rectangular than round like a pair of Okley shades, the bottom of the nasal cavity is open straight down, and instead of teeth there are four long strips extending down over where the mouth would be. We also feel that you are not seeing half the mask, but the overflow of the artwork off the grip panel onto the frame would suggest the mask is pointed back at the operator.

This model has a functional slide that will eject and chamber a round as well as pulling the hammer back. The trigger also functions releasing the hammer when the functional grip safety if squeezed. The thumb safety on this model is only partially operational, it will keep the slide from moving, but it will not prevent the trigger from releasing the hammer.
