Model Description

“Nicknamed 'TIMELESS' this miniature toy model of the 1911 will captivate you. It got it's nickname from the rich history it has, being equipped since WW2 and now by police throughout the world. This is the ultimate manly fidget toy.“ Timeless was the first 1911 released, at that time it was only available to the top 1,000 previous GoatGun customers by means of an email, with a link and the Password ITSTIME.

The model itself is almost entirely black, everything but the grip panels which are hydro dipped with a faux wood grain design. But thanks to museum contributor Wyatt Hahn we know that the first five hundred models had a unique aspect that the rest don't. The first 500 have a different finish on the magazine release button, trigger, slide lock, and spring housing for the thumb safety detent.

This model has a functional slide that will eject and chamber a round as well as pulling the hammer back. The trigger also functions releasing the hammer when the functional grip safety if squeezed. The thumb safety on this model is only partially operational, it will keep the slide from moving, but it will not prevent the trigger from releasing the hammer. The earlier models, while designed to have shell ejection from the start, do not have the ability to chamber and eject rounds. This feature was left out do to legal concerns, but once they confirmed it wouldn't be an issue the mechanism started being installed for our enjoyment.
