Geardo

Model Description

One of the definitions for Geardo in the Urban Dictionary is a person with a large collection and knowledge about expensive, rare, and authentic tactical/military gear. For many of us this model is just another part of our large collections or GoatGuns. When the model was announced by Anthony in his live video, he stated they were planning on putting numbered stickers on the boxes, something that, from we've seen, was not done. He also stated that from that point going forward all their upcoming limited-edition models would be limited to 600, significantly fewer than what they have been producing for their LE models.

On Pumped, they used black plastic for the body and foregrip. On The Ounce, they used white plastic, and on Fragger they used a tan colored plastic before they hydro-dipped the pieces. Even on Bad Dreams, the white plastic pieces are the base color beneath the black and red UV printed details. So, it seems a little odd when you are examining Geardo and notice the white in the seams on this matte OD green painted model. The model follows in the fashion of The Ounce and Fragger where main housing and foregrip are colored while the remaining parts like the barrel, charging handle, magazine, etcetera are all black.

As far as the rest of the model, the front grip does pivot but won't go parallel to the barrel. The charging handle and be pulled back and locked open but the model doesn't have the blanking plate for one of the ejection ports so you can look straight through it, this model also doesn't have shell ejection. The trigger can be pulled, and it has a smooth action to it. There is also a single button to release the barrel from the receiver, a true feature of the AUG. There is a Picatinny rail on top, but it isn't quite sized right for some of the optics GoatGuns offers.
