Model Description

Donkbusters is the fourth Halloween limited edition from GoatGuns for the 2024 season. With inspiration from the popular Ghostbusters movies. Something unique to the Donkbusters SCAR model is that it doesn't come with a rear iron sight, instead it comes with a short holographic sight painted blue, which is the first and only way that we have found to get this accessory in this color.

The design of the model seems to take many cues from the Ecto-1 from the second movie. Much of the model is white, the upper and lower receivers, magazine, and grip. These parts were also UV printed to appear to have green slime splashed all over them. They also have on either side right above the selector, a red circle with a line through it, similar to the Ghostbusters Logo, but instead of using a ghost there is a little white donkey in the circle with its eyes depicted as little x's. The Stock is red like the accent color of the vehicle that starts below the side windows and extends back through the tailfins. The blue holographic sight, we feel best represents the blue lights that adorned the roof. Though that was truer in the first movie where there were only blue lights while in the second movie there looks to be more red, green, and yellow lights than blue ones. The handguard/picatinny rail covers have a diagonal black and yellow caution pattern like the horizontal accent line on the body and at the top of the car's door frame in the second movie. The barrel, gas block, front sight, picatinny rails, stock hinge, and butt pad as well as the smaller components like the trigger and mag release are all black.

The base for this model is painted white with a black top, the slime splatter is also present on either of the longer sides where in the center in a red color it reads “SARGE BELIEVES YOU”, beneath that in a smaller font size in black in says CALL GG-7102. This is once again a nod to the second Ecto-1 where just behind the front wheel it reads “WE BELIEVE YOU” in red and CALL JL5-2020 beneath it in black. We feel the GG obviously stands for GoatGuns, but the significance of the 7102 is less apparent. Reaching out for more opinions someone shared a google search for the meaning of the number where the top result referred to it as an angel number saying, “new opportunities that await you if you decide to take the aid of the guardian angels.” That said, we at the museum don't think that is accurate, we went to the site that said that stated that and found it to be as vague as a horoscope where it doesn't have any actual meaning but there are so many words dancing around that fact that people can assign their own meaning to it.
