Veterans Kit M1 Garand

Model Description

When the Veterans Kit was announced, many complained about needing to buy two models they already had just to get the OD green Thompson, but when Anthony assembled the M1 Garand model and put it side by side with Brigadier… The differences were visible, but they are still very similar. This model comes in the Veterans Kit set. While the set comes with a sticker of all three, the model doesn't get on if its own, the only thing in the box along with the model was its assembly guide.

Similar to the model Brigadier, the traditionally wood components are also OD green with a white five-point star on the right side of the stock. How it differs from Brigadier is the green color is a satin/semi-gloss color compared to the other's matte finish. A small detail, maybe, but it also comes with a brown leather sling instead of the black one. This model also doesn't include the Brigadier sticker, so there is that. Finally, just like Brigadier, the barrel, sling attachment points, charging handle, bolt carrier, rear sight, receiver, trigger assembly group, and butt pad are all black in color.

The model has an adjustable rear sight. If you open the bolt, you can eject the clip. This model also is the first one to come with the rounds glued into the clip, something they started doing when they began selling the En-bloc clips separately, meaning you can no longer eject the empty clip just to hear the ping. It also has the fidget toy trigger and operational door on the back of the stock. Just like the RPG models, it comes with a three-piece ejection molded display stand.
