The all MAGA M82A1 model You Missed

Model Description

Born from the same molds as the others, it unfortunately hasn't been updated with shell ejection… yet. The M82A1 model, You Missed, is the MAGA limited edition, mostly red and black with a few UV printed accents. The main body of the model is a deep red, while the barrel, front iron sight, top rail, carry handle, scope, bolt carrier group, magazine, rear iron sight, grip, and stock brace are all black. The magazine has a red silhouette of the 48 continental United States on it with a large 45 cut out of it symbolizing Trump's role as the 45th President of the United States. The sides of the main body of the model have white line art depicting ribbons towards the front and the back with MAGA in big bold block letter colored in the American Stars and Stripes. MAGA of course being the campaign slogan of President Donald J. Trump, standing for Make America Great Again.

The team at GoatGuns had discussed making a MAGA themed model in the past, but knowing how divisive politics can be, they put the thought aside not wanting to alienate some of their fan base. That was until the events of July 13th, 2024, at the fairgrounds in Butler Pennsylvania. With the new UV printing process, and shipping by air, they went from design to shipping out to customers in less than 30 days. This was the quickest they have ever gotten a new design out to their fans, and they are excited by the idea they can act quickly with other new limited editions in the future.

For anyone looking for clarification as to what occurred on July thirteenth, we will give a summary of what we've seen on multiple news sources, some of the major ones are listed in the resources below. Donald J. Trump the 45th President of the United States and leading candidate for the Republican Presidential nominee was campaigning in an open-air event at the Butler County Fairgrounds in Butler PA, when an individual took it upon himself to attempt to end his campaign early. Minutes into his speech President Trump had a graph pulled up on the display behind him, as he turned his head to look at it the first bullet pierced his right ear narrowly avoiding a fatal wound. In the footage of the event Trump can be seen putting his hand up to his ear after what he later described as the feeling of being punched in the side of the head. Spectators could hear two more shots as he dropped down and his secret service team grouped around him to shield him. A moment later seven more shots can be heard in quick succession. It was probably at this point that the shooter was stopped first by the local law enforcement then one of the counter sniper teams put a round through the shooter's head.

After the shooter was taken down the Secret Service team moved to get the President out of there in case there was another threat in the area, but when Trump stood up, he looked over the crowd. Seeing all their worried faces, he wanted to let them know he was okay, as he said in an interview with Elon Musk. Raising his fist into the air, with blood running down his face, he said with a look of conviction “Fight! Fight! Fight!” leading to the iconic photo used on the sticker. The president was then removed from the scene and brought to a hospital for medical treatment.

The president got through this with only minimal injury while two bystanders, David Dutch from New Kensington, PA and James Copenhaver from Moon Township PA were both critically injured in the shooting. Both men have since made it through alright. Unfortunately, not everyone was so lucky, a former Butler Township fire chief Corey Comperatore died a hero shielding his family from bullets. His daughter Allyson wrote:

“The media will not tell you that he died a real-life super hero. They are not going to tell you how quickly he threw my mom and I to the ground. They are not going to tell you that he shielded my body from the bullet that came at us.

He loved his family. He truly loved us enough to take a real bullet for us. And I want nothing more than to cry on him and tell him thank you. I want nothing more than to wake up and for this to not be reality for me and my family.

We lost a selfless, loving husband, father, brother, uncle, son, and friend. And I will never stop thinking about him and mourning him until the day that I die too. July 13th will forever be a day that changed my life. I will never be the same person I was less than 24 hours ago.

There are a lot of children out there that say their dad is their hero, but my dad really is mine. I don't think I would be here today without him.

Dad, I love you so much that there aren't enough words to express how deep that love goes. I know you'll give heaven some hell. I know that God is proud of the man that came to His gates yesterday.”
